How do I book?
Follow the booking link on my sessions or contact page and you will find a booking button which will allow you to select your session type, date, time and pay a deposit. Please contact me if you need any help or have any questions.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Hobart, Tasmania and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive a sneak peak of your images within a few days. Your online gallery link with all your photos within 4 weeks (sometimes less). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favourites, and also order prints!
How many photos will we receive in our gallery?
I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why you will get the best and more significant photos to tell your story. You can expect to receive 40 photos from a standard session.
What can I expect during the session?
As you have most likely seen, my style of photography is quite candid, I don't like to do overly posed photos, rather just capture you and your family interacting naturally with each other. However, I will offer lots of guidance and move you around depending on the lighting and encourage you to stand close, or have your hand or arm around each other. The most important thing to remember during the session is to relax and have fun. I encourage you to play and have fun with your little ones as these interactions usually produce the most natural smiles.
What do we wear?
Once you book, I'll email my comprehensive style guide, packed with tips and inspiration to help you create a cohesive and stylish look for your family. I am always available to chat through options if you need any help.

How do I choose between outdoor or indoor photography?
It depends on what type of session you would like. Generally I recommend outdoor sessions at golden hour for maternity and family session. The lighting is better and we have more options plus if your little ones are on the move they often love the change of scenery and exploring a new area meaning it's less stressful for parents. I usually reccomend we do newborn sessions indoors as they can't regulate their body temperature yet and it's easier to keep them warm and respond to their needs if they need extra settling and feeds. This is just my opinion based on my own little ones and the clients I have photographed so please chat to me if you have other ideas, we can often make any option work.
What happens if it's raining?
As we know, our beautiful island state has a habit of four seasons in one day. I purposely don't heavily book my golden hour sessions so if we need to reschedule due to weather then we can. I will touch base with you a couple of days before if I think we need to.
Where is the best place to get my images printed?
If you wish to get images professionally printed, I recommend using a quality print lab. Please talk to me and I'll help find the right option for you.
Do you do event photography? (Weddings, birthdays, parties, christenings)
No I don't offer event photography. My photography gear is not set up for this style of photography. However, please let me know if you need help finding someone I am more than happy to send through some options.
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the deposit can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the booking by contacting me 48 hours prior to the date of booking and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.
